Home cooked style Carribean cuisine place with generous portions and quick service. Ordered their fried pork for takeout and it was ready within 15 minutes. In terms of food, pork was very dry and some pieces were very difficult to chew. Nonetheless, the sauce they provided on the side definitely helped me go through the plate. If you don't like dry meat in general, I wouldn't recommend getting the fried meat dishes from here, but other sides (rice and beans, slaw, salad etc) do go along well with the meat.

I wouldn't recommend to eat in if you are looking for an unique ans pleasant experience always call and place your order otherwise you will be waiting for a good 10 minutes. The food is always good neverthelessthereate some dish that needs to be revised such as :, fried goat sometimes is over fried,the side sauce is extremely greasy, once I bought white rice and black beans, it had a funky smell to it. If you pay close detail to the food packaging it is slightly cover with the kitchen food residues nevertheless The service is still mediocre, you have to constantly remind them what you ordered because they constantly asked you. I figured that the old lady is the manager, her employees are scared of her because she always belittling them in front of customers which leads to not be able to work under pressure nevertheless I support the work and the Haitian community. The pictures is showing the inconsideration of the service. Extremely greasy and excessive oil usage.

Excellent food! Flavorful and authentic! Customer service could be better. Might concider looking up the menu ahead of time so you know what to get, but anything you order will come out looking great! Soul food, great potions sizes.

Highland Cuisine will disappoint you but you’ll still come back. Everyone who leaves a bad review will be back. Yes, there is absolutely no customer service so don’t expect it but you will not get better Haitian Food anywhere. I’ve tried them all, a hack you need to use is ordering your food in person, not on the phone or through a delivery app. Usually when I do that the food comes out a lot better and when you come in, be aggressive and ask if anyone’s in line, if you see people standing around, do not assume they are in line. When you order your food stand near the desk, do not go to your car or walk around, just stand a lil off to the side. They are always overwhelmed with to go orders so if you’re not visible, they will accidentally give your food to someone else. I’ve been going here for 30 years so trust me I know.

Haitian food restaurant. When we went there they were working as a take out only restaurant. That’s why all the chairs on the tables (don’t know if it was because of the holidays), and that’s why the food in boxes. But they let us sit down inside. Food is delicious! Prices are a bit high, $30 for the main entrées, specially as a take out place.

Real deal food. Absolutely full of soul and flavorful at every bite. A bit informal in terms of sitting, which you’re welcome to order at the counter and eat there, the staff were warm and inviting. I tried The goat plate with fried plantains and black rice. It was everything I thought it would be. Highly recommend :)

The beef veggie legume with plantains was the best dish we ordered. The meatballs were dry and not too flavorful. The limonade was delicious. We ordered takeout and the food was ready on time and staff were very nice. Like others, I probably wouldn't recommend this place as a sit-down restaurant, but we enjoy having it from time to time as takeout.

My favorite Haitian restaurant is great food and good customer service. I recommend it, thanks to all the ladies and the manager who runs this restaurant.
